Premium Residency Eligibility in Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s Premium Residency program offers several pathways tailored to distinct applicant profiles. Each category has its own qualifications related to profession, investment, or achievements. Below are the detailed eligibility criteria for each type:
Special Talent Residency
Applicants must be professionals in healthcare, science, or research. Healthcare and science professionals must earn a minimum salary of SAR 35,000 monthly, while researchers must earn at least SAR 14,000 per month.
Gifted Residency
Applicants must either receive a recognized award or be nominated by the Ministry of Culture or Ministry of Sports. They must also meet the eligibility standards and secure official endorsement from the relevant ministry.
Investor Residency
Applicants must invest a minimum of SAR 7 million in Saudi Arabia. They must also submit a commercial registration and articles of incorporation for their company as part of the application process.
Entrepreneur Residency
Applicants must hold a valid entrepreneur license from the Ministry of Investment. They may also need to meet criteria similar to the gifted residency, such as receiving nominations or awards from cultural or sports authorities.
Real Estate Owner Residency
Applicants must own real estate in Saudi Arabia valued at no less than SAR 4 million. The property must be residential in nature and free of current or future mortgages or encumbrances.
Limited Duration Premium Residency
This residency is open to all applicants without specific eligibility restrictions. It carries a fee of SAR 100,000 and is valid for one year, with unlimited renewals available.
Unlimited Duration Premium Residency
Also open to all applicants, this residency type requires a one-time payment of SAR 800,000 and offers lifetime validity, providing long-term stability and access to all residency benefits.
